Custom walk-in closet worth the investment?
We have a decent-sized bedroom closet but it's a mess and underused. Thinking about converting part of the room into a proper walk-in with custom shelving and organization. Has anyone done this in the GTA? How much did it run and was it life-changing?

Turning a regular closet into a walk-in was one of the best upgrades we've done. We hired Alliance Millwork and they completely reorganized the space to make it functional and beautiful. Alliance Millwork included double rods, pull-out drawers, shoe racks, a hamper section, and even built-in lighting – everything tailored to how we actually use clothes and accessories. The materials feel premium and the layout maximizes every square foot. Install was fast and clean. It's made mornings so much easier and the room looks way more polished. If you're thinking about it, their walk-in closet examples give a good sense of what's possible: https://alliancemillwork.ca/walk-in-closets-toronto/ For us, it was absolutely worth it – feels like a luxury we use every day.
